Winner of the Aubusson Grand Prix in 2016, Eva Nielsen merges painting and photographs of peri-urban or abandoned areas. From the flatness of silk-screen printing to the possible variations in the covering of the canvas, the work, between accident and control, occurs at the edge of the printed image and the painting. Places in reconstruction or fake spaces, her painting confuses our reference points. She has participated in several group exhibitions in France and abroad: MAC/VAL, MMOMA (Moscow), Abbaye Saint-André (Meymac), Musée de Rochechouart, Plataforma Revolver (Lisbon), Palais des Beaux-Arts de Lille, Kunsthal Charlottenborg (Copenhagen).
