The Swiss composer and musician Fritz Hauser (born in 1953) has been contributing for more than 30 years to the evolution of percussion in contemporary music. Working on improvisation,time and space, his work often lies at the crossroads of disciplines. He composes for percussion soloists and ensembles, and creates sound installations, works for radio, and film music… Fritz Hauser puts on his solo programmes for drums and percussion all over the world, and has recorded numerous CDs.
