In an open dialogue with Bice Curiger, Bertrand Lavier will be talking about his work and the ways in wich Vincent van Gogh has inspired him. He will be discussing the “Van Gogh touch” that is the thread running through his current show at the Fondation.

Bertrand Lavier was born in 1949 at Châtillon-sur-Seine. He lives and works in Paris and Aignay-le-Duc (Côte-d’Or).
In 2014 Lavier designed the entrance gate in front of the Fondation Vincent van Gogh Arles, a spectacular work in the public space representing the considerably magnified signature of Vincent and his own signature at the same time.
